Community

Our Commitment

At Triple Point, sustainability starts with people. We’re committed to working in close partnership with local and Indigenous communities to ensure the project reflects shared values and delivers lasting benefits. We will engage openly, listen actively, and ensure community voices are reflected in project planning and operations.

Shared Prosperity

We are committed to creating lasting jobs, training, and business opportunities that strengthen rural economies and keep benefits local. Our approach includes:

  • Early and ongoing consultation with Indigenous and local stakeholders
  • Education, training, and employment pathways for local residents
  • Long-term partnerships built on transparency and mutual respect
  • A “Local First” hiring philosophy that prioritizes regional talent

Minimizing Impact, Maximizing Responsibility

Salt dome storage is inherently low impact with most of the infrastructure located deep underground. At Fischells, development will be thoughtful and responsible, designed to minimize disturbance and respect the land and waters that sustain local livelihoods.

  • Sustainable resource use – using seawater instead of freshwater to reduce stress on ecosystems and recovering high-purity salt with minimal waste
  • Detailed monitoring – adaptive management of air, water, and soil quality
  • Preserving biodiversity – alignment with provincial and federal protections
  • Technology-driven solutions – Applying advanced tools and modeling to improve outcomes

Safety, Transparency, and Accountability

Every decision we make is rooted in risk reduction, operational excellence, and a commitment to going beyond regulatory requirements. We set clear measures of success, report back to communities, and ensure that benefits are real and lasting. Our commitments include:

  • Proactive risk assessments and mitigation planning
  • Clear reporting and accountability frameworks
  • Independent reviews and community updates
  • Full compliance with provincial and federal environmental regulations

Our Goal is Simple: to build a project that communities can be proud of, one that reflects shared values and delivers benefits for generations to come.
