Trigonometry is a companion app for middle school and second class: It includes introductory activities of different notions, training exercises as well as various problems.

Targeted Competence: Space and Geometry: Mobilize the Knowledge of Figures to Determine Geometric Quantities - Conduct Reasoning and Learn Demonstration Using the Properties of Figures

I. ACTIVITIES

Four activities are available:

- Discover the cosine
- Guided demonstration (cosine formula)
- Sinus and tangent discovery
- Guided demonstrations of the two fundamental properties

II. TRAINING

Three exercises are available:

- Identify the sides in a right triangle
- Choose the "right" formula to use
- Calculations in the right triangle

The last exercise is configurable: Number of questions, choice of trigonometric lines, calculations of lengths and / or angles.

At the end of each exercise, a balance sheet is displayed as a proficiency level. The success score is recoverable thanks to the scanScores application.

III. PROBLEMS

Six problems are available:

- Sun-Venus distance
- Antenna of the Eiffel Tower
- Perimeter of the Earth
- Decor leaning (angle)
- Batsignal (angle)
- American billiards (angle)

For each exercise, a calculator is available (but not required)
The application detects rounding errors and reports them.
