Tribes: Ascend is a First Person Shooter game set in a futuristic environment in which two armies will battle each other to achieve different goals with only one thing in common: shoot all your enemies.
Tribes: Ascend is a multiplayer shooter includes two game modes: on the one hand, the classic 'deathmatch' by teams in which the goal is to kill all your enemies. On the other hand the equally popular 'capture the flag' in which you'll have to steal the flag of the other team and bring it back to your base.
You can choose from a wide range of characters equipped with different weapons and different armors. Plus, as long as you win battles, you'll earn points to buy more armors and weapons.
As far as the technical part goes, Tribes: Ascend is excellent. Visually, it'll remind you of games like Halo, featuring futuristic marines that fly all over space while they fire. The sound is also good and if you want to make the most out of it, plug in your earphones and enjoy it.
Tribes: Ascend is a frenetic action game with fun mechanics and excellent graphics. Hours and hours of destruction in outer space are waiting for you in this free game. That's right, it is free.
