TORCHBEARER FLASHLIGHT

Torchbearer Flashlight (TF) is a light-based application from Vagabond Rabble LLC (Vagabond Rabble). TF is intended to function without Internet access for significant periods of time. TF is a fun, entertaining light-based application, capable of sending & receiving morse via light, as well as engaging magnification with light, strobe light and flashlight, aka a torch. Enjoy!

TF requires the use of the camera for most of its functionality. Please be sure to enable such permissions as requested for effective performance.

UPCOMING UPDATES

TF will have new features arriving in the first quarter of 2017, including certain features which will be available only on TF. Currently, TF is significantly more optimized for entertaining functionality as compared to TFF, and this trend will continue to be the case, with latest updates arriving first to TF.

UP AND COMING LANGUAGE UPDATES

TF is presently available in English (United States). We are translating and adding Spanish, Russian and Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional) over the first quarter of 2017. Other languages may become available upon request in the second quarter of 2017.

FEATURES

MORSE CODE LIGHT-BASED SENDER & LONG-RANGE RECEIVER

TF can both send & receive Morse code via light! TF has been successfully tested up to a mile, although past a mile may require reflective amplification. Vagabond Rabble also has demonstration videos in light-saturated environments at night, in order to demonstrate use of the Morse Receiver in such environments.

This feature is ideal for more powerful phones, but is by and large backward compatible on older devices.

MAGNIFIER

TF is capable as a magnifier. Use up to 8 times zoom with the flashlight either on or off, as well as configure various camera settings for improved viewing.

STROBE LIGHT

TF is capable as a strobe light. Adjust the stroboscopic rate on the fly, for fun and entertainment.

FLASHLIGHT | TORCH

TF is capable as a very bright flashlight. Wield a fun and bright torch, employ a light button, or use an electric flash.

ATTRACTIVE GEMS

TF has scintillating gems of many sorts, shimmering in the corridors of time. Stones have recently materialized from the void of realms, appearing as specific objects of useful function.

CUSTOMIZATION

TF has extensive customization, such as changing the gem colors, which also alters the front-light hue.
