Tool Evolution is a hyper-casual game where your goal is to collect materials to upgrade a tool, which in turn helps you gather more materials to improve even more tools. And for some reason, all of this is done to rescue a princess. Yes, behind your journey to becoming the ultimate tool lies the classic quest of saving a kidnapped princess.

Simple and addictive gameplay

Like most hyper-casual games, Tool Evolution has a straightforward gameplay that you can control with just one thumb while playing in vertical mode. To progress, simply approach any resource source and wait as your character (which starts as a bone) mines as many materials as possible. Once your backpack is full, return to your base to deposit the resources. That's pretty much the entire gameplay loop. As you advance, you'll collect resources faster, but upgrades will require more materials, keeping the pace the same despite your progress.

Start in the Age of Dinosaurs

The first level of Tool Evolution takes place in Prehistoric times, where you'll mine bones and fossils to upgrade into a spear and a bone hammer. Occasionally, you can even hunt dinosaurs for extra resources. Once you obtain the key to leave the Prehistoric era, you'll advance through different historical ages, including the Stone Age, the Middle Ages, the Golden Age, the World War Era, and even the Future. Each period introduces a new resource type and lets you transform it into different tools.
