: thunder and lightning coming down from the skies
I just was driving home and saw the wonderful light show and pulled over to watch it for a little bit. I texted my dad (he loves thunder and lightning) and he was already up watching it. I guess it's coming north because I'm starting to hear it more and more. If you are up go outside and enjoy :-D 15th August 2008
: top 5 five influencing albums
What top 5 albums influenced you the most; do not list your all time top 5 albums, If you have a few more (or less) then 5 that’s ok too. 1. Queen - It's a kind of magic (The first CD I ever bought, I was a big fan of the TV show highlander and soundtrack during the show.) 2. Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle (His flows were amazing and he compelled me to enjoy more urban music, it was the first tape I bought to listen to with my walkman, I bought it the week it came out.) 3. The Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation (I listened to this CD over and over again with Your Love and Poison stuck in my head. It was the first EDM CD I bought.) 4. The Orb - The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld (I used to listen to this album over and over, so epic sounding, many a lazy Sunday were spent with this playing in my dad’s cd player. The day I bought it, I skipped class and went cd shopping at circuit city) 5. Daft Punk - Homework (I remember listening to The End when Marco Collins was still working there and he had just came back from the UK some time in 94 or 95. He played this amazing track called Da Funk (from a Soma CD sampler). After hearing it a few times I was sad knowing I would never get a chance to hear it again (I forgot to record it onto tape from the radio). Then a few years later I heard the band behind it was signed to Virgin records. I also heard it was going to be on the Saint Soundtrack so I bought the soundtrack for the one song. When I came out in the US I bought it right away. Runners up Goldie - Timeless Chemical Brother - Exit Planet Dust Oasis - Definitely Maybe Metallica - Self Titled Orbital - Snivilisation and In Sides Photek - Modus Operandi Current Mood:
