I’m a senior school leader and english teacher in South London. I have previously taught English in Malaysia and Nigeria; EFL in Bangkok and Harrogate, as well as Sociology, Media Studies and all the Humanities in Croydon.

I am an Evidence Lead for Education and lead training courses for teachers around the country. I’m also a regular speaker at teaching conferences, including Researched, The Festival of Education and LitDrive.

I have run a lot of highly rated CPD for Academy trusts as well individual schools, covering English specific curriculum planning and pedagogy; cognitive science and explicit/direct instruction.
