This is one of those tasks that is annoying for the spactacularness of how unspecefic it is, but I still feel I acheived it spectacularly. Because it was Australia Day, our local council put on some (terrible) fireworks, so Loki came to meet me at the station after work, and we sat on my picnic rug on the grass near the beach, and just hung out and talked for an hour.
It was awesome.
There is something really nice about just being with someone, with nothing else to do, and it was even nicer that it wasn't in the house. There was no tv, no sense that I should be doing something else, just being there, in that moment.
So even though there was plenty more relaxing that night, this is what I will remember as my task for the day. A lot of my tasks recently have been about relaxing though it seems. I mean that's what the whole holiday idea was about really. |
