Tobacco Road Football Club
Tobacco Road FC is a semi-professional soccer organization based in Durham. The club competes in USL League Two, widely recognized as the fourth tier of the United States soccer pyramid and a key developmental league for emerging collegiate and pre-professional players.

Mission and Community Focus
Tobacco Road FC was built on a grassroots philosophy rooted in local talent, competitive spirit, and a commitment to the Durham soccer community. The organization emerged from years of amateur competition and was shaped by players, coaches, and volunteers who shared a passion for growing the sport in North Carolina.
Our Story
Tobacco Road FC has a rich history starting from the early 2000s as a grassroots organization. Originally known as Clockwork Orange and led by Drew Moss, our club quickly became a top destination for talented unsigned professionals and recent college graduates looking for elite competition.

Meet Our Coaches
Our coaches at Tobacco Road Football Club play a critical role in developing players and maintaining the club’s competitive identity. With a strong emphasis on player growth, tactical discipline, and team culture, the coaches work closely with athletes to elevate their performance both on and off the field. Drawing from extensive playing and coaching experience – and a whole lot of passion – we focus on creating an environment that supports technical development, physical preparation, and strategic understanding of the game. At Tobacco Road FC, we are committed to helping players reach their full potential while representing the club and the Durham community with professionalism and pride.
