Children's Ministry Curriculum For
Nursery—6th Grade
Everyone who goes through your children’s ministry curriculum should be eating the “meat” of God’s word. But how you prepare that “meat” will differ for each age group. The littles need their lesson pureed and spoon-fed. Your Toddlers need their meat pre-cut. While your fourth graders simply need a knife and fork handed to them. This is how we approach teaching the Bible to children of all ages.
Nursery: Blessing & Impartation
The main focus with this age group is creating a spiritual environment where babies feel safe. Your volunteers will have specific prayer points that go with the lesson.
Toddler—Kinder: Play Learning
This age range needs a lot of hands-on activities, object lessons, and centers. The lesson activities and games will reinforce the lesson theme.
1st—3rd Grade: Foundations
With first through third grade, we're building a foundation for discipleship. This age group should begin to have short times of worship, prayer, and Bible discussion.
4th—6th Grade: Discipleship
This age range is ready to go deep. They can handle longer times in prayer and worship. More lesson time is spent in Bible reading and discussion with this group.
Teaching Children The Bible As A Timeline
God's Plan To Redeem All Things.
Your kids will learn the unfolding storyline of the Bible—God's plan to redeem all things, from Genesis to Revelation.
Your Life Is In God's Timeline.
Your kids will learn how their life today fits within God's storyline, not as a metaphor but as a reality.
The Bible's Story Is Still Unfolding Today.
Your kids will learn how the Bible talks about things that happened in the past, things that happen in our day, and things that will happen in the future.
You Are A Son Or Daughter—Called To Be A Disciple.
Your kids will find their identity as a son or daughter of God, and out of that overflow, their purpose and calling.

Create A Prayer Culture In Your Children's Ministry
Even younger ages can engage.
Inviting kids into prayer and encounters with Jesus is possible. You can start developing a prayer culture in your kids ministry with the help of this simple guide!
You don't need a fancy setup.
You don't need world-class musicians, state-of-the-art sound systems, or perfectly behaved kids.
It takes willingness and consistency.
By following these simple steps, you can empower your kids and volunteers to engage with God through prayer, no matter your group size. All you need is a willing heart, persistence, consistency, and faith.
Show Your Kids Powerful Images of The Bible
Realistic Visuals.
Realistic visuals help reinforce that the Bible is real and distinctively different from the "Disney Channel" shows kids watch at home.
Children's Voiceover Talent.
When a child hears the scriptures explained to them by another child, they are noticeably more engaged. A child narrator also necessitates simple vocabulary and editing strategy.
Repetition Equals Retention.
Children need to view a video more than once to fully retain it. That's why one video covers two lessons and is played in back-to-back weeks.
Curriculum That Allows Children To Hear It, See It, Do It.
Proven Teaching Methods.
Children are more likely to retain the main theme of the lesson when they hear the message, see a visual, and do a hands-on activity.
Memory Verse and Declarations.
In this children's ministry curriculum, each month, your kids will memorize a Bible verse that goes along with the theme of the month. Declarations about their identity in Christ are recited weekly.
Play Learning.
We provide activities and games that will incorporate fun. These moments foster connection and relational equity while allowing the theme to sink in.
