So, I've decided to save links to all my stories on pinboard. Everything is there now.
It's here, if you want to check it out.
ETA 2016: I'll only be using this to keep track of my comment_fic fills from now on.
I give blanket permission for podficcing and other things -- but let me know what's being done with my fics, and if you want to do anything with any of my original stuff, you have to ask me first. DO NOT repost any of my works anywhere, though links are fine.
As a starving grad student, I’m ever in need of funds.
So, if anyone needs an editor or proofreader, I have over five years of experience as a professional editor, a BA in English, and an MA in Education. If any of y’all know of someone who could use an editor, I’ve created a flyer with basic info. Drop me a line and I’ll email it to you.

Rec me thriller sci fi books about giant monsters eating humans. Or some lost world is discovered and humans get eaten.
preferably not part of a series. Also, if the monsters come from the ocean, that’d be cool.

Had my dissertation defense yesterday morning. Now I’m Dr. Tigriswolf.
i lost power around 9:30 pm on Sunday; got it back sometime last night. everyone in my immediate circle lost power at some point but only my parents and lilsis still don't have any. my uncle has a bunch of branches and limbs in his yard but none on his house. fences, powerlines, trees, signs -- stuff is down everywhere.
and it was only Cat2 winds here.
my parents had a very tall, somewhat large, dying tree removed from their yard this summer. if they hadn't...
and let's not forget, there's still a fucking pandemic and fuckheads who trust facebook hearsay and clickbait over science and think they can control women's wombs while not wearing a mandated mask.
*sigh*
2021, you haven't been much improvement over 2020, i gotta say.
Dear 2020,
Fuck you.
Sincerely,
I am just so tired.

so, i’m reading Black Book of Poems and i haven’t been this frustrated with poetry since the first time i read Milton. i keep having to pause and roll my eyes, and i do not understand all the rave reviews. these poems are so forced! so trite! i feel like i wrote this kind of stuff as a preteen, and then i feel guilty for feeling like that, but seriously.
all the rhyming. ALL THE RHYMING. every single poem so far has rhymed, for fuck’s sake. SO MUCH FORCED RHYMING.
i’m gonna finish it, if only so i can add it to my book log. (which, yes, i am keeping again. 17 so far!)
and, to be fair, there are some good lines in here. they’re just difficult to find because of all the R H Y M I N G.

so, i’m gonna submit a manuscript to a poetry competition. I have 2: one for general poetry and one for fairy tales. I like them both equally, so I need help deciding which to submit.
anyone wanna read ‘em and discuss with me?

Passed my GE.
I'll be defending my general exam this afternoon. Please wish me luck.
Anakin took a drastic turn for the worst. I let him go home.
Rec me some books that don’t involve cats, fire, or incurable diseases, please and thank you.
My cat Anakin has been having some health issues that bewildered our regular vet and the specialist they sent us to; the specialist sent us to another specialist, who finally diagnosed the problem. For the past few weeks, I've given him multiple medication multiple times a day and none of it made a difference.
He has feline infectious peritonitis, the dry kind. He'll live a few months at most.
He's not even two years old.

definitely didn't feel like it, but my advisor told me ages ago that if she didn't think her student capable of passing the defense the defense would be postponed. i took comfort in that as the date…
thank you!
