HIGH-VOLTAGE MARKETING POWERING DATA-DRIVEN RESULTS

PPC Management Services That Turn Ad Spend Into Revenue

Most businesses throwing money at Google Ads aren’t getting leads — they’re funding Google’s bottom line.

Bad targeting, bloated keywords, and zero conversion tracking mean you’re paying for clicks that never become customers.

That’s why I manage every campaign the way I’d manage my own money — because when your ads perform, you invest more, and we both win.

I’ve managed over $350K in annual ad spend across industries, and every dollar gets the same obsessive attention whether your budget is $1,000 or $10,000 a month.

Why Most Paid Search Campaigns Waste Money

Wasted Google Ads budget — burning money on paid search campaigns without proper PPC management

Here’s the thing.

The average small business loses 25-40% of their Google Ads budget on irrelevant clicks.

Wrong keywords, missing negative keywords, broad match running wild, and landing pages that don’t convert. The money disappears and nobody can tell you where it went.

The root cause?

Most agencies set up your campaigns, turn on automated bidding, and move on to the next client.

There’s no ongoing optimization, no search term analysis, no weekly bid adjustments.

You’re paying management fees for someone to check a dashboard once a month and send you a report full of vanity metrics.

Then, you’re stuck trying to make sense of this data compared to your SEO.

A complete and total search engine marketing nighttmare.

I take a different approach.

I’m in your account weekly — analyzing search terms, adjusting bids, testing ad copy, and killing underperforming keywords before they drain your budget.

You get transparent reporting that shows exactly what you’re paying for, what’s converting, and what we’re doing about it.

No black box. No mysteries. Just a clear line from ad spend to revenue.

How Much Are You Wasting on Google Ads?

These estimates come from managing $350K+ in annual ad spend and auditing accounts across dozens of industries over 10+ years. Unlike generic calculators, your answers directly shape the results:

Quality Score (adjusted by bidding strategy + optimization frequency): Accounts that haven't been optimized recently tend to have lower Quality Scores (5/10 avg). Improving to 8/10 through better ad relevance and landing pages cuts CPC ~35%. Search campaigns with smart bidding (Max Conversions, Target CPA) partially compensate. Smart Campaigns get the heaviest penalty — they offer no control over ad relevance or landing page optimization.

Match type waste (adjusted by your match types + negative coverage): Exact/phrase match with active negatives is the cleanest setup — near zero waste. Broad match without negatives can waste 20%+ of your budget on irrelevant searches. Broad match paired with smart bidding and active negatives fares better, but still carries risk in most small business accounts. Smart Campaigns give you no keyword targeting control at all.

Negative keyword waste (adjusted by your management frequency): Active weekly management keeps waste around 3%. No management means ~20% of clicks are typically irrelevant. Smart Campaigns don't support negative keywords — there's no way to block bad traffic.

Conversion rate gap (adjusted by bidding strategy): If your conversion rate is below your industry benchmark, I calculate the opportunity cost. Max Conversions and Target CPA strategies get a reduction here since they actively optimize for conversions. Smart Campaigns don't get this discount — they claim to optimize but frequently deliver inflated CPAs.

When you select "Not Sure": I use moderate assumptions rather than worst-case. I'd rather underestimate waste than overstate it — your trust matters more than a scary number.

Your actual numbers depend on your specific account setup. The only way to know for sure is a detailed audit — which I do free, with zero obligation.

What Influences Google Ads Pricing?

Every business runs Google Ads differently. Here’s what affects your final investment:

Direct Access to the Person Doing the Work

When you email me, I respond.

When you call, you’re talking to the person inside your Google Ads account — not an account manager reading from notes.

Large agencies bill you for layers: project managers, account reps, junior staff, senior staff.

Every layer adds cost and slows communication.

You pay me.

You work with me.

One person accountable for your results.

Partnership Pricing, Not Margin Maximization

Agencies optimize for profit extraction — selling the biggest package, adding scope creep charges, locking you into contracts.

I optimize for results that justify growing your investment with me.

My pricing starts fair because I’m betting on delivering value significantly higher than what you pay.

When your ads generate leads profitably, your business grows.

When you grow, you invest more in what’s working.

That’s real economic alignment — not an agency pitch.

AI-Enhanced Efficiency Passed to Clients

I’ve automated what agencies staff entire teams to do.

AI-enhanced workflows let me deliver enterprise-level campaign analysis faster and more accurately than traditional agency processes.

That efficiency advantage goes to you as better pricing and faster turnaround — not inflated into corporate overhead.

Month-to-Month Because Results Should Earn Your Business

No 6-month, 12-month, or multi-year contracts locking you in regardless of performance.

I earn your business every single month by delivering results that justify continued partnership.

That’s confidence in my work, not legal retention tactics.

If you’re ever unsatisfied, we part ways professionally with clean handoff of your Google Ads account and all campaign data.

You own everything.

Ad Spend Level and Campaign Complexity

A single-campaign search account at $1,500/month requires different management intensity than a multi-campaign setup across Search, Display, Shopping, and Retargeting at $15,000/month.

Your investment reflects the complexity and time required to optimize your specific account.

Higher ad spend doesn’t automatically mean higher fees — it means more data to optimize and more opportunities to improve return on ad spend.

Proven Results: $350K+ in Annual Ad Spend Managed

I’ve managed over $350K in annual ad spend across industries from home services to e-commerce to professional services.

That experience means I’ve seen what works, what wastes money, and how to scale campaigns profitably.

You’re not paying for someone to learn Google Ads on your budget.

You’re getting 10+ years of experience applied from day one.

Paid Search Marketing Examples and Results

Each paid search marketing engagement below was custom-built around that business’s specific goals, budget, and target audience — from financial services to home services to professional services to e-commerce.

"Thunderstrike has been a huge asset to LeadChimp and its clients' campaigns. We consistently hit target conversion metrics on our paid search campaigns and beat the performance of other SEM agencies we've worked with. I highly recommend Thunderstrike Marketing!"

This is what happens when someone’s actually inside your Google Ads account every week — not checking a dashboard once a month and calling it management.

How Much Are Google Ads?

The honest answer: it depends on your industry, competition, and goals. Google Ads costs vary dramatically — a personal injury lawyer in Tampa might pay $50+ per click, while a local cleaning service might pay $3-5.

The real question isn’t how much Google Ads costs — it’s whether your campaigns are generating profitable returns on that spend; an answer you probably figured out if you played around with my wasted ad spend calculator.

Here are the questions I hear most from business owners considering PPC management:

How much should I pay for Google Ads management?

Management fees typically range from $499 to $1,999+ per month depending on campaign complexity, number of campaigns, and ad spend volume. That fee is separate from what you pay Google for clicks.

Be cautious of anyone charging less than $300/month — there’s not enough time at that rate to properly manage and optimize your campaigns.

My packages start at $499/month with percentage-of-spend models that scale with your investment.

How do I know if my Google Ads are actually working?

Look past vanity metrics like impressions and clicks.

What matters is cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend.

If your current manager can’t tell you exactly how many leads came from Google Ads last month and what each one cost, that’s a problem.

Every Thunderstrike client gets reporting that connects ad spend directly to calls, form submissions, and revenue.

Is my Google Ads agency doing a good job?

Ask them three questions:

  • What’s my cost per conversion this month versus last?
  • Which keywords are driving the most leads
  • What changes did you make to my account this week?

If they can’t answer all three immediately, you’re paying for dashboard monitoring — not active management. A good PPC manager should be in your account weekly, not monthly.

What should a Google Ads report include?

At minimum: total spend, cost per click, cost per conversion, conversion rate, search terms report highlights, changes made during the reporting period, and next month’s optimization plan.

If your current reports are just screenshots from Google Ads with no analysis or action items, you’re not getting management — you’re getting a forwarded email.

What if I need changes after launch?

Minor updates are included during the first 30 days.

After that, I offer month-to-month maintenance packages or hourly support—whichever fits your needs.
