Thrive

Thrive is a relaxation and self-control app that lets you set your Android device aside and enjoy a few minutes (or even hours) of peace and silence. All you have to do is choose the amount of 'down time' you want to have. The rest is up to you.

While Thrive is active, you won't receive any notifications, text messages, or even calls. Nothing. You can set up an automatic response message through the settings so that if someone calls or texts you, they will instantly know you're not available.

Another interesting benefit of Thrive is that it lets you control your use of certain apps individually. More specifically, it tells you how much time you've spent using each of the apps installed on your device and lets you set up a maximum. That way when you've gone over your allotted amount of time with an app, Thrive will let you know.

Thrive is a great app to help you deal with excessive and obsessive smartphone use. It works very similarly to the great 'Forest: Stay Focused', but with even more benefits and a beautiful, modern, and elegant interface.
