It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Elizabeth Sladen, best know for her role as Sarah Jane Smith In Doctor Who, and he own spin off, The Sarah Jane adventures has died.

The BBC has confirmed it, but the news broke via twitter and details are sketchy. Will update when I know more.
