Thorlabs APT 3.21

Thorlabs APT (Advanced Positioning Technology) is a Windows-based motion-control software suite designed for Thorlabs motorized and piezoelectric positioning hardware. It combines ready-to-use graphical control panels for quick setup and manual operation with a programmable automation layer for building repeatable, multi-axis motion workflows in research and industrial environments.

Key features:

• Broad hardware support for Thorlabs DC and stepper motor controllers, piezo drivers, and multi-axis stages
• Intuitive GUIs for device discovery, homing, jogging, stage calibration, limit setup, and velocity/acceleration tuning
• Automation via an ActiveX/COM interface for integration with .NET languages and LabVIEW, with example projects and controls
• Sequencing and scripting tools to coordinate axes, execute motion routines, and save/reload device configurations
• Support for closed-loop operation, software/hardware limits, and digital I/O where available
