About THOMAS KIES

Thomas Kies is the Edgar-nominated author of five Geneva Chase mystery novels. He has a long history of working for newspapers and magazines in New York, New England, and North Carolina.

In addition to journalism and writing mysteries, he’s a college creative writing teacher, playwright, actor and environmentalist who lives with his wife, Cindy, on a barrier island on the coast of North
Carolina.

He’s the father of three grown children, four grandchildren, and the dog dad to a Shih-tzu named Annie.
