I’ve been writing in Python since 2002, after having worked in a number of other programming languages. Previously, I had worked with Tcl as a scripting language, but after starting a new job, I looked about for a different scripting environment. I settled on Python then, and haven’t looked back.
Since then, I’ve developed several open source packages, including pyparsing and littletable, and most recently plusminus. I enjoy hearing from people using these libraries, and every so often I get time to post some Python or pyparsing tidbits here.
