Digital Accessibility Consulting, Support and Remediation

When your team remediates their own ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) digital accessibility and compliance issues, it saves your organization time and money. How digital accessibility support works

Digital accessibility support is a custom-focused consulting service. WeCo Accessibility Specialists work directly with your team in flexible ways that help them solve issues and learn accessibility remediation through hands-on and discussion experiences.

WeCo’s digital accessibility support services are available for new website launches (pre-build planning) and for existing websites (remediation support).   

Digital design pre-build planning: WeCo’s Accessibility Specialist will review your advance website designs and help you create a plan to build in accessibility. We always include a specialist who is blind and a specialist who has sight to provide you with both non-visual and visual feedback.

Q/A sessions: Gather your “sticking points” for accessibility, and a WeCo Accessibility Specialist will brainstorm and walk your team through potential solutions.

About accessibility overlays and widgets 

If you are using an accessibility overlay application or widget, WeCo will require you to remove the software before and during the time that we perform your audit and remediation. Why? These overlays impede accurate usability testing, and they do not meet all WCAG requirements. Our testers will not be able to use their assistive devices (such as screen readers and speech recognition) to audit your site.
