About Me
Born and raised in the Southern Highlands I knew early on that animals were my passion. I completed an Animal Studies Course at Taronga Zoo and then began specialising in dog training through multiple courses and workshops including Dog Training & Dog Psychology.
I entered the industry as a trainer focusing on behavior modification and after 5 years, I decided to step out on my own to share my experience.
My mission is to help you create a relationship with your dog built on respect and trust, enabling both of you to share life’s journey together.
I’ve developed a deep understanding of dogs and their behaviours. I’m always learning and updating my skills to ensure I’m bringing you the most current and effective obedience training and behaviour modification methods.
Located in Wollongong, I provide dog training services to clients in the Illawarra and NSW South Coast.

Answers to your questions
How much does dog training cost?
The typical cost of dog training is dependent on the type of dog training you want to do and your location.
My dog training services are designed to be affordable for dog owners. My programs start as low as $75 for the weekly Wanderer and Nine to Fiver programs, and $150 and $285 for my 1:1 Behaviour Modification and Puppy Program classes respectively.
Should I get my dog trained?
Training your dog can be incredibly beneficial for both you and your dog. Here’s why:
Bonding: Training sessions provide an opportunity for you and your dog to bond. It’s a chance for you to spend quality time together, strengthen your relationship, and build trust.
Behaviour: Training helps to establish good behaviour within your dog. With good behaviour and obedience comes freedom to take your dog anywhere you like.
Safety: Training your dog can also ensure their safety and the safety of others. A well-trained dog is less likely to engage in behaviours that could be harmful, such as jumping on people or running into the street.
Socialisation: Training often involves socialisation, which is essential for your dog to learn how to interact appropriately with other animals and people. This can help prevent aggression or fear-based behaviors.
Stimulation: Training provides mental stimulation for your dog, which is just as important as physical exercise. It keeps their minds active and engaged, preventing boredom and potential behavioral issues.
Confidence: not only will having an obedient dog increase the handler’s confidence, but it also increases the confidence and independence for the dog as they know exactly what is expected of them.
What is the best age to start dog training?
It is never too early to start training your dog. In fact, respected breeders often will start exposure training within the first 2 weeks of a puppies life. However puppies are most receptive to learning and forming new habits between 8-16 weeks old which falls in line with bringing your puppy home for the first time.
How many training sessions does it take to train a dog?
This depends entirely on what your goal outcome is. Simple commands such as ‘sit’ or ‘down’ can be learnt within minutes. However, more advanced obedience or behaviour modification can take much longer. Just like humans, each dog will learn at their own pace. This, along with the communication, commitment and consistency from the owner, will depend on how long it will take for the dog to learn.
