Anthony Hogg is a vampirologist, blogger and president of the Vampire Studies Association, which he founded in 2018. He is also the editor of Vamped and the Journal of Vampire Studies. In 2017, Vamped won a Lord Ruthven Award for Media/Popular Culture. The journal received special recognition from the Lord Ruthven Assembly in 2021.
He co-organised There Are Such Things! Vampire Studies Symposium 2015 with Dax “The Vampire Historian” Stokes, which was held at North Central Texas College, Corinth, TX, on October 31, 2015.
A strong advocate for vampire scholarship, he hopes to donate his vampire book collection to a library for other vampire scholars to access someday.
He lives in Melbourne, Australia.
