ARTIST TALKS
Through selective curation, the Techne gallery strengthens artist networks, grows portfolios and builds new relationships.
All members in showcase are welcome and encouraged to host their own artists talk during our Friday open house.
The TXRX Labs Techne Gallery is a utilitarian design, fabrication and installation space focused on supporting STEM objectives, craft and trade skills.
The Techne Gallery serves to highlight and visibly support the exemplary craft coming from our membership lab areas and to offer equipment access and free classes to our Craft & Maker residents.
TXRX does not provide a cyclical grant funding schedule in direct support of residencies but we are interested in supporting a good idea and post open calls through our mailing list. Please subscribe to stay informed!
Donations help fund our residency programs so that we can offer multiple opportunities a year. A donation can provide an artists materials, supplement stipend availability, staff labor and helps with maintenance to keep our community tools in good functional order. When donating, please add “Techne Gallery” to the note.
TXRX is an unmonitored gallery. Please download and fill out the Artist Release form for all works to be showcased.
