Story That Shaped the Future

There are first steps to every journey. Ours started more than a decade ago and continues to inspire us for driving even more client success.

2014 August

During a honeymoon trip, our founder receives a message: they need to move out of their apartment in two weeks. To avoid realtor fees, a script is written to scan rental listings and identify direct landlords. The idea works — imperfectly — but sparks something bigger.

2015 February

The aforementioned script evolves into a real estate analytics platform. Testing challenges lead to hiring the first employee — a QA specialist who is still part of SCIMUS today.

2016 May

To fund development, the team begins offering testing services to startups. The service demand quickly outgrows the original product, and SCIMUS pivots fully into QA services.

2017 February

The company operates under the name “Pro QA Services,” working with multiple products and applications. Several clients from this period still collaborate with SCIMUS.

2018 June

Clients begin asking not only for testing, but also for development help. SCIMUS expands into full development services, gradually specializing in eCommerce and healthcare solutions.

2019 August

The team grows to ~30 people, delivering large-scale projects, including platforms serving hundreds of online stores and complex healthcare analytics systems.

2020 March

With businesses moving online, demand surges. SCIMUS starts working with enterprise clients, including companies in California, helping them scale when in-house resources were limited.

Today

SCIMUS continues to grow steadily, deepening expertise in selected industries, helping clients evolve business models, and building technology that supports real growth.
