About

The Ryder is a contemporary art gallery founded in London in 2015 and now based in Madrid.

Housed in a former ham-curing warehouse in the Justicia neighborhood, the gallery is dedicated to introducing international artists to the local art scene while also serving as a platform to expand the visibility of Spanish artists abroad.

The Ryder fosters dialogue with institutions and cultural agents, private collections, and the general public through a critically engaged program. As a gallery, it places particular emphasis on production processes, the use of technology within an ecological context, and the expression of new subjectivities.
