BAMF!
...
Well, there certainly appeared to be a lack of floor that he hadn't counted on not being there.
Inconvenient.
THUD!
Ouch.
The air was knocked from his lungs as his back slammed against something unpleasantly firm. Oh, it wasn't the ground. Kurt reflexively started scrambling as he started to slide down what felt like a very steep hill. A very rocky, sandy and crumbly hill. The shower of dirt and chunks of shale kept his eyes firmly shut, as he was pitched head over tail -- rolling and bouncing his way down a slope. He finally managed to stop himself by cleverly smacking into a boulder. Right on top of his thankfully sheathed swords. Right in the kidneys. That was going to leave a mark.
Ach, this was going to be a long walk back to New York... as he was fairly certain that this was not the Manhattan rooftop he was aiming for.
Wait, was that...the ocean? And somewhere in the distance something sounded quite a lot like carnival music. Kurt would have gone to investigate at once, if his body had not decided it had had quite enough abuse for one evening, thank you very much. Oh, he hated passing out in strange places.
And then everything went white.

No one ever believed they were the same age. Much less twins. They definitely had their differences, that went beyond their looks. Bobby was absolutely a Mama's boy, and Kurt was Daddy's perfect angel.
Their parents didn't live together, and that suited the boys fine. Especially since they usually ended up at the Mansion anyway.
Kurt was physical mutant, barely five feet tall, with a slight but well toned build. Bobby was tall and blond and perfect. Usually, Kurt lived with Lucien, and Bobby with Emma.
Something awful had happened when they were four, Bobby had vanished and Kurt could only remember hurting for him, being cold, and crying. His stomach hurt all the time. He wanted his brother and didn't understand why his father and mother couldn't get him back. But then he was back, a long time later, and was different. Different in a way a child didn't understand and tried to ignore.
Kurt was sent away when Bobby vanished, to stay with his aunt in Germany. His father visited often, and told him it was to protect them. From what, he wouldn't say.
Finally, at sixteen years old, the twins were reunited in New York. And promptly didn't get along. Their parents had enough of their constant bickering and rough housing and shipped them off to Xaviers.
And that's how Kurt ended up pinned beneath his super huge blond frat boy jock of a brother, too proud to teleport. "Get off!"

Today was festive. I got to wear a brace thing over my really ugly sprained ankle. I fixed my Desk top and upgraded to Win 7. I helped fix the florescent bulbs in the kitchen and am not awesome enough for my pimp cane. Then, brace-less, I fell, slamming my ankle of woe onto am open PC case. Ow.

SO IMPORTANT. REMIND ME MY PEOPLE.
SO IMPORTANT. REMIND ME MY PEOPLE.
You guys are made from so much win, I'm just flailing around. We're the hell game with the silly name. I love you all.
Firefox and LJ are both hating on me, as is my laptop in general. It's not the hardware (my bestie Bobby - of its_a_pub fame - Bobby2, Jean etc bought me Window 7 because Vista is KILLING ME)
As I get this resolved, I'm gonna be slow.

Wow, I love how my sorta musebox became this kinda groovy thing. Seriously, I love how it has the lamest name in ever
its_a_pub
And it's not just a pub.
It's now a town called Vista Del Fuego, New Mexico, with a pub and grill, a Budget Motel, and a small town.
It just happens to be in Hell. It's kind of a small section that guards a power crossroads and the entrance to a deeper area of Hell.

Oh and on Saturday, Alex broke his foot playing hockey.
I need to get a new PS for my desktop. I need to fix Becca's desktop - I tried to cannibalize Becca's old PS and OF COURSE it didn't have all the connectors I need and meh. I need to build my poor sister a decent desktop or get her a netbook.
MICROCENTER TIEMS WOOO
