I started Thencan Designs for the same reason you probably started your business: freedom. I wanted to spend more time with my family, go skiing in beautiful Bend, Oregon, and build a life I actually enjoyed. And let’s be honest, I needed to make enough money to afford living here (Bend isn’t cheap). But beyond that, I wanted to do something meaningful.
Service has always been one of my core values, and I knew I wanted to help people in a tangible way. I started by building thoughtful websites, but I quickly realized that business owners don’t just need a nice-looking website, they need people to see it to get results. That realization led me to local SEO. Now we help contractors, plumbers, roofers, and other service businesses show up when customers are searching, book more jobs, and build businesses that give them their lives back.

Her background includes over fourteen years as a copywriter, where she built lasting client relationships and delivered results-driven marketing campaigns. She’s written for a myriad of industries including indie publishing companies, self-storage, multifamily housing, and senior living. Laura grew up in Central Oregon and attended Southern Oregon University, she currently resides in Bend with her pup, Winifred. She enjoys getting lost in a good fantasy novel and taking long walks through Shevlin Park. Laura combines strategic thinking with creativity to deliver measurable impact to clients.
Operations Manager: Eleanor Harper-Dutt
Based in: Ann Arbor, Michigan USA
Eleanor manages operations and delivery at Thencan Designs, turning complex processes into simple, repeatable systems that keep the SEO team running like a well-oiled machine. With a background in art and website design, plus her past life as a professional ballerina she brings precision, creativity, and discipline to everything she does. (Sometimes she designs websites for Thencan too!)
Eleanor loves the challenge of SEO and watching optimization efforts pay off for clients. Based in Michigan, she’s a total movie nerd who shares her family home with two dogs, Cora and Chewbacca. When operations run smoothly, everyone wins, and that’s exactly what Eleanor strives to deliver.
SEO Strategist: Muhaiminul Islam Sajib
Based in: Khulna, Bangladesh
Muhaiminul Islam Sajib entered the SEO industry in 2022, right after leaving the military. His goal is not only to serve his country but also to support businesses worldwide by helping them grow through effective local SEO strategies.
His academic journey began at A. C. Law Pilot High School and concluded at Bangladesh Open University (BOU).
In the early ages, Sajib dreamed of being an artist, then an engineer, and later a cricketer. Now, he is dedicated to SEO, working with hundreds of local business owners across the globe. He still enjoys playing cricket and has a love for pizza!!

Rehana is a passionate Web Developer and Video Editor at Thencan Designs, with years of experience building websites and growing expertise in video editing. Based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, she’s endlessly curious, loves learning new things and tools, and quietly lets her work speak for itself. An introvert by nature, she focuses on creating seamless digital experiences that delight clients and users alike. When she’s away from the screen, you’ll usually find her reading thriller novels, it’s her favorite way to recharge, spark new ideas, and bring fresh perspectives into her work.
