The GIIN Impact Forum was held in Berlin on October 7 - 9, 2025 and offered unparalleled opportunities to learn from thought-provoking speakers, participate in interactive sessions and network with impact investing leaders from six continents.

The GIIN hosted our Climate Solutions Investing Roundtable during NYC Climate Week, and brought together asset owners, managers and other leaders in climate finance to explore current climate capital flows, strategic alignment for progress towards a below-2°C future and more.

The GIIN Impact Lab has launched two new software tools to help investors maximize the impact of their capital: the Impact Target Setter and the Impact Quantifier. These tools are designed to help asset allocators make more informed, comparable and context-driven decisions when selecting funds, setting impact targets and evaluating outcomes across diverse investments.

On May 29th, the GIIN launched a new working group, based in Japan, to expand discussions and initiatives aimed at scaling impact investing in the country with rigor and at scale. The GIIN’s Japan Working Group will host its first meeting in June 2025.
