Accessibility Features at The Georges

Your comfort is important to us at The Georges and we strive to make our spaces as accessible as possible. Accessibility is tastefully enhanced in accordance with Historic Buildings regulations throughout our properties. Learn more about specific features below.

Haywood’s

Haywood’s Bar and Grill, including the courtyard and restrooms are accessible from street level. There is an elevator from the restaurant area to the first floor of the Washington building, offering access to rooms 1 & 2.

Room 11

Located in the Marshall Building, Room 11 is ADA-compliant and accessible by means of a ramp from the parking lot. Room 11 has a low platform bed and grab bars in the shower, with exterior access to Guest Services and Restaurants via the parking lot and around the building to the Main Street sidewalk curb.

Room 27

Located in The Livery, Room 27 is ADA-compliant and close to parking. Room 27 has a low platform bed. The bathroom is zero entry and has grab bars and a seat in the shower. The room has exterior access to Guest Services and Restaurants.

Guest Services & TAPS

Guest Services, the TAPS Bar and TAPS Restrooms are accessible from street level. Full food and beverage service is available in the TAPS Bar. There are steps to the TAPS Dining Room on the lower level.

The Garden Terrace

The Garden Terrace is not wheelchair accessible from the parking lot. There is an accessible exterior route to restrooms at street level on Main Street sidewalk with curb.

The Patton Room

The Patton Room and restrooms are accessible at street level on Main Street sidewalk with curb.
