Set along the Ohio–Kentucky seam, The body isn’t a battery that discharges upon death gathers works attentive to material residue and afterimages. Moving slowly through The Carnegie, visitors encounter extradimensional traces and haunts, but also budding timelines.

Whether on stage, in the classroom or in a gallery, The Carnegie inspires creativity for all. We are the largest and only multidisciplinary arts venue in Northern Kentucky, with The Carnegie Galleries, the Eva G. Farris Education Center and the Otto M. Budig Theatre housed together under our landmark dome.
The Carnegie utilizes its historic building as a venue for emerging and established artists to create, perform, and exhibit while providing educational opportunities for the discovery and enhancement of creativity and the celebration of the arts.
The Carnegie is a space for artists and curators to test ideas, collaborate broadly and create opportunities for each other.
Our galleries believe we have a responsibility to connect artists to new opportunities that will grow their career and/or practice.
The Carnegie Education Department’s mission is to provide arts opportunities for every child to strengthen creativity, critical thinking, perseverance, communication and pride.

LANGUAGE: Sexual references, mild obscenities, and homophobic slurs.
ALCOHOL: Alcohol is consumed.
VIOLENCE: There is a boxing match in the musical.
FOR WHICH AUDIENCE: Kinky Boots is a mature musical comedy. The play is best suited for Grade 8 and up.
RATING: If it were a movie, Kinky Boots would be rated “PG-13.”
SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN is a family-friendly production, appropriate for all ages.
