The base ticket (200,000 sats) covers:

• Full logistical support — we help arrange travel, pickups, and make sure your stay is smooth

Accommodation is not included in the base ticket, so you can choose the housing that best fits your vibe and budget. Prices are for one full week:

• Hostel: 30,000 sats/night — simple, social, budget-friendly

• Studio: 90,000 sats/night — private, spacious, ideal for couples

• Villa: 300,000 sats/night — luxury stay in 3 bedroom villas

January is one of the best months to be on Roatán. It sits right after the rainy season and just as the island shifts into its clearest, breeziest, most comfortable period.

Expect:

• Warm days: 26–29°C (79–84°F)

• Comfortable nights: 22–24°C (71–75°F)

• Low humidity compared to October–December

• Plenty of sunshine — this is peak beach weather

• Light tropical breezes, especially on the north shore

• Very little rain — you might get a short shower, but it’s quick and refreshing

• Excellent diving conditions — January typically brings clear water and calmer seas

If rain happens, it’s usually a brief shower that clears the air and opens up beautiful sunsets. All outdoor activities (beach fires, boat trips, tennis, snorkeling) run normally this time of year.

Meals are self-organized, giving you the freedom to explore the island’s food scene. Roatán has everything from local Honduran street food like baleadas to fresh seafood grills and high-end Caribbean restaurants. Many places in Próspera accept Bitcoin payments via Lightning, while USD cash is widely accepted elsewhere. Group meals are part of the program, too.

Roatán (RTB) has direct international flights from Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Denver, Belize and Guatemala City. Plus great domestic connection in San Pedro Sula.

Yes. Most participants are digital nomads or entrepreneurs, so reliable internet is a must. Coliving spaces have solid WiFi, and we also provide SIM backups and Starlink.

There are coworking sessions at the Bitcoin Center in Próspera, but you’re always free to work from your villa terrace, the café, or anywhere else.

Roatán is a Caribbean island that welcomes thousands of international tourists every year. It’s much safer than mainland Honduras, with a strong expat community and infrastructure designed for visitors.

That said, it’s still a developing country: you’ll want to be mindful like anywhere else in Latin America. We’ll guide you on the do’s and don’ts, and you’ll feel comfortable moving around.
