THE BASE ANDERMATT
The Base Andermatt is a project by A++ Group, an international firm based in Lugano that, since 2005, has evolved from an architecture studio into a multidisciplinary group. Today, it integrates expertise ranging from architecture and interior design to construction, real estate, property development, and hospitality.
Led by Paolo Colombo, Founder & Managing Director, and Carlo Colombo, Partner & Creative Director, A++ Group stands out for a design vision that places people at its core, combining aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
The Base Andermatt represents the tangible expression of this philosophy: a project developed in every phase by the group — from design to construction, through to management — where every detail is conceived to offer an authentic and contemporary living experience.
The building, constructed with a timber structure and sustainable materials, ensures high energy efficiency. Its architectural lines blend harmoniously with the surrounding alpine landscape.
The interiors reflect a refined and essential design language, where wood takes center stage. Used for furnishings, flooring, and cladding, it creates a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. Natural light, enhanced by large windows, elevates the spaces and emphasizes their quality.
The property features 10 apartments designed to meet different living needs, maintaining a perfect balance between contemporary comfort and alpine identity.
Among the shared spaces, a reception with lounge area welcomes guests into a curated and relaxing environment. Dedicated services include private parking, seasonal ski room and bike room, as well as a wellness area with sauna, designed for recovery and relaxation after a day in the mountains.
