Since 2010, The Awarewolfs’ Fullmoon Bikerides, or AWLF FMBRs for short, are group bicycle rides that take place – you guessed it – every full moon! FMBRs are a great way to stay in tune with the lunar calendar and consistent occurrence that gets you off your couch to ride your bike. On the FMBR, we urge everyone to obey the rules of the road and be as aware as possible. “Anyone and anybike” is welcome but, a fixed gear, road bike, ten speed, or mountain bike is the best to keep up. If you’re riding an E Bike – please be extra aware of fellow riders and lower your speed.

If you’re considering coming out on a ride for the first time, ultimately, before the ride, ensure YOU and YOUR BIKE are up for a medium paced ride. We recommend downloading the Critical Maps App on your phone – if you get separated from the group, use the app to find us.

Planning on driving to the meetup? Or coming from out of town?? These rides are typically A to B rides – we don’t really plan the ride back to where we started. What some riders do is park their car where our rides ends and riding to the meetup. May not work for everyone / every FMBR but hey – maybe it’ll give you an idea on how you can efficiently attend our next FMBR.
