The Bar

Open since 2003, The Great Escape has established itself as one of the most popular bars in Lausanne for locals, students, ex-pats and general misfits. As the original free-house in Lausanne, you will still find a great selection of artisanal and international tap beers, guest beers and fine spirits, as well as a burger menu that uses only pure Swiss beef from the town’s best butcher and the finest local ingredients.

When it comes to live sport, the Great has a passion : football from the premier league and all the top European leagues, Top 14 rugby and all the international games plus a wide range of other sports. We want everyone to feel at home at The Great Escape and we strive hard to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
