I sooo want to draw Mikasa! Her design is just so pretty and her LIPS the shape of her lips is awesome. :3 I think I'm in love with her desin, been a while since I've done that.
Darn it, can anyone recommend me a pic of Mikasa? I'm not exactly wanting to draw from the anime (but the anime art is pretty, gotta give em that credit) but rather from the fanarts because they're more detailed, but so far the only types of Mikasa I want to see are from the anime.
I want to see her doing epic poses, but nothing too hard like operating on a 3DM gear, can't do that yet. XD;;

slowlllly progressing on story- on chapter 2, and current goal is to make chapter 5, which will be the end of book #1 and start of book #2. Trying to finish Book #1 by January.

Oh my turtle fangirling over Hiroshi Kamiya's voice right now, ufufufufu~ Started going on this spree after learning that he is the seiyuus for Akashi Seijuuro (Kuroko no Basuke), Orihara Izaya (DRRR!), Levi (Shingeki no Kyojin), and Natsume Takashi (Natsume Yuujinchou). HOLY TURTLE I SWEAR HIS VOICE IS SO DISTINCT AND NICE AND EARGASMIC AND KINDA GIRLY BUT SO DIGNIFIED AND SO FIT FOR AKASHI AND IZAYA AND VFJDIOBJFGR I swear Daisuke Ono too voices Midorima and Shizuo AHHH
sorry. but TURTLE THIS IS SO COOL <3 <3 <3 and Izerochan'd crossovers between those major three (since I can't find Natsume in any of their crossovers... well I guess that's because Natsume has a totally different personality than those three...) Now off to watch DRRR and hoping Izaya pops up more often~
I-I think I've fallen in love with the anime. It starts out slowly, and is not the type of anime that's fast-paced or exciting- it's more of a slice-of-life anime, with little wisdoms from Natsume Takashi as he goes on his midadventures with the youkai, the protagonist. I really like the character development though, it is quite deep and more about his coming-of-age and childhood days trying to help people and returning the youkais' names, along with discovering more about humanity and that in reality, there is no difference between youkais or humans- both in the end love and feel heartbreak all the same.
I never thought I'd like these type of animes, and honestly, I almost gave up on this hidden jewel among the sea of anime until I saw a review that made me go back to it. <3 This is a short but beautiful piece of work, and each episode is sort of unrelated to the other, and can be switched around a bit, but all tell the daily life of Natsume and the people he meets along his way to adulthood. And in reality, now that I am halfway through season one, I've realized that this anime is actually using the characters to tell morals that closely tie with each other. It's very plot-driven in that sense, hmm. :)
Usually I do not bring my thoughts about politics/laws to LJ, but... I just had to for once. Since this is such a historic ruling. Please bear with me. This is a great news to me, because I, as a liberal for now, has always advocated for marriages regardless of whatever sex is together ever since I was a teen. And especially since I'm in California, this makes the ruling much more meaningful to me. I feel... amazed, and proud and happy that they would finally approve what should have been obvious- I understand that the Bible has not consented to this and many Americans are Christians, and that people like sticking with old traditions and seeing something this new is unacceptable to them. LGBT marriages were UNHEARD OF just 30 years ago- but, I want to say, what gives people the right to stop other people from loving? Why should people be concerned that other people are not following their idea of living? Should love be just between man and woman? Since when was love supposed to be judged from bodies? Shouldn't love be judged from the soul, and since soul (to me) has no gender, shouldn't love be genderless?
One of my close relatives gave me this reason- humanity would not be able to carry on (ie. have children) if the government allow gays and lesbians to marry. And, to me, that reason smelled like bullshit- in Ancient Greece, if I could recall, in Athens or Sparta maybe? people were allowed to be gay, and did their society collapse? No, I think it thrived. There would ALWAYS be, to me, an equal amount of gays, lesbians, and heterosexuals. People won't and don't randomly flock to the gay/lesbian side after LGBT civil unions are allowed.

I guess in the manga they do? wtf lol seriously~ I think my main pair is going to be Eren/Mikasa, Mikasa to me inside is just a little tsundere :3
