Texel 2026 Sommige banen hebben maar één rondje nodig om indruk op je te maken. De Texelse is er zo een. Maar het leuke is dat hij je ook bij de zoveelste kennismaking blijft verrassen. De reis naar de Texelse is onderdeel van de beleving. Zodra je vanaf Den Helder de oversteek maakt over de Waddenzee, laat je het vasteland achter je en kom je in een landschap dat ruiger, opener en door schapen gedomineerd wordt. De Texelse is one of my favourite courses in the Netherlands. Thanks to its sandy base, it drains beautifully and stays playable almost year-round. We played there in October, and the course was still in great shape firm, fast, and very enjoyable. Two years ago, the front nine was renovated, and the driving range was lengthened. The course now feels even better balanced. The front nine is more open, while the back nine is tighter and demands more precision off the tee. If your driver isn’t behaving, consider hitting an iron or hybrid to keep the ball in play on the inward stretch. My favourite hole…

I played De Texelse quite a lot in the past, but not after the renovation of the first (old) 9 holes. But before we played, I was quite impressed by the new clubhouse. It really fits the place and has a beach-style vibe. Dressing rooms are really nice and the restaurant area is lovely. Great views over the greens of the 9th and the 18th green. Well done. Before we played the course, we decided to warm up on the par 3 course. I must say, I was impressed. Some really nice linksy holes and definitely not too easy…

Maandagmorgen, opening van de Monday Tour op de Texelse golfbaan. En je ziet aan alles dat de baan op alle fronten zichzelf keer op keer verbeterd. De entree, de professionele shop, vriendelijke caddiemaster enhorecacrew die je het gevoel geven echt welkom te zijn in dat prachtige nieuwe clubhuis waar nog steeds de sfeer is van het oude Haanehuus. Drivingrange en oefenfaciliteiten zijn oké. En dan de baan. De eerste negen zijn uitdagender geworden door de ruimte die gecreëerd is na het verwijderen van het oude clubhuis.
