Join my presentation on: There’s No CTRL+Z in Real Life: QA as Our Last Line of Defense “Stories from tomorrow that we must prevent today.”

In the age of artificial intelligence, the code we write increasingly makes irreversible decisions from hiring choices to autonomous actions with life-and-death consequences. This transforms the role of QA from a tactical bug hunter into a strategic guardian of humanity inside the machines. In this thought-provoking, story-driven talk, we’ll explore why quality assurance has never been more critical.

There’s No CTRL+Z in Real Life: QA as Our Last Line of Defense “Stories from tomorrow that we must prevent today.”

We’ll examine real ethical failures of AI systems and near-future “Black Mirror” scenarios that may soon become reality. Together, we’ll unpack challenges such as the test oracle problem, hidden data biases, and the combinatorial explosion of test cases in autonomous systems. We’ll also peek inside the modern QA arsenal from AI-assisted testing techniques to human-centric validation approaches explained in an accessible, practical way.

The goal isn’t to give you ready-made answers, but to provoke the right questions. Participants will leave with a renewed, empowered understanding of their mission in building safer and fairer technology for the future
