Does Rhode Island Have Term Limits on Their Governor?

Yes- Rhode Island has a consecutive term limit of two four year terms. At present, current Governor Daniel McKee (as of 4/14/25), has only served one term, so he will still be eligible to run in the next gubernatorial election on 11/3/26.
