Does Montana Have Term Limits on Their Governor?

Yes- Montana has a consecutive term limit of two four year terms with a mandatory two term pause. At present, current Governor Greg Gianforte (as of 4/14/25), will have served two terms by the gubernatorial election in November 2028, so he will not be eligible to run for reelection.

What's your reaction?
