teletext

As its name indicates, Teletext is a widget for your Dashboard that lets you consult the teletext services of various European television channels.

The Italian channel RAI, Spain's TVE, Portugal's RTP, The UK's BBC and, Norway's NOS are some of the teletext services available on the widget. You'll also find television channels from countries like Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

Teletext is controlled using the keyboard and mouse. Click the left and right arrows to go to the next or previous page. Manually enter the number of the page you want to go to or use some of the keyboard shortcuts that the application provides. For example, the letter 'g' goes to page 200 by default and 'j' goes to 400.

Click on the name of the channel to change the teletext or go to the settings and select the channel that you want to show by default. There are a total of 18.
