Q: What is SAFe and what is it used for?

SAFe stands for Scaled Agile Framework. It is a set of principles and practices for scaling Lean and Agile across large organizations. SAFe helps align multiple agile teams, manage dependencies, and optimize the flow of value from portfolio to team level. It is developed by Scaled Agile, Inc. and used by over 20,000 enterprises worldwide.

Q: Which SAFe certification is right for me?

The best starting point is Leading SAFe if you want to understand and drive SAFe adoption in your organization. Scrum Masters should look at SSM, Product Owners and Product Managers at POPM. Q: Are there prerequisites for SAFe courses?

Most SAFe courses have no formal prerequisites. A basic understanding of Agile ways of working and experience in software development or project management is helpful but not required. For the Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), an existing SSM certification is recommended.

Q: How does the SAFe certification exam work?

After completing the training, you receive access to Scaled Agile's online exam platform. The exam is a multiple-choice test and can be taken within 30 days of the course. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you get one free retake.

Q: How long is a SAFe certification valid?

SAFe certifications are valid for one year. To renew, you need to earn continuing education credits and pay an annual renewal fee to Scaled Agile. This ensures certified professionals stay current with the latest framework version.

Q: What is the difference between Scaled Agile and tecnovy?
