How AttachFlow Works
Save Email Attachments to OneDrive or SharePoint
- Open an email in Outlook that contains attachments.
- In the Outlook ribbon, click Apps and select AttachFlow.
- The AttachFlow pane opens on the right side of Outlook.
- Choose OneDrive or SharePoint.
- Select the attachments you want to save using the checkboxes.
- Browse and select the destination folder or SharePoint site.
- Click Save to upload the selected attachments.
Your files are saved directly to the selected OneDrive or SharePoint location.
Attach Files from OneDrive or SharePoint to an Email
- Start a new email or open an existing draft in Outlook.
- In the Outlook ribbon, click Apps and select AttachFlow.
- The AttachFlow pane opens on the right side of Outlook.
- Choose OneDrive or SharePoint.
- Browse your folders and select the file you want to attach.
- Insert the file into your email.
The selected file is added to your email from OneDrive or SharePoint without downloading it to your device

Select the attachments you want to save using the checkboxes.

Click Save to upload the selected attachments.

Security and Data Access
AttachFlow follows Microsoft Office Add-ins security requirements.
When the add-in is used, it can:
- Send data over the internet
- Save selected attachments to OneDrive or SharePoint
- Search files across OneDrive and SharePoint based on user permissions
- Insert files from OneDrive or SharePoint into outgoing emails
AttachFlow:
- Does not read or modify other mailbox items
- Does not store email or file data outside Microsoft 365
- Does not send data to any third parties
