What is Bath Digital Festival?
19th - 21st May 2026
Bath Digital Festival 2026 is the platform to allow the innovators, creators and curious minds of our region to come together to showcase, learn, connect and celebrate.
Immerse yourself in a diverse lineup of interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and engaging panels. Get hands-on with cutting-edge technologies, meet the brilliant minds shaping the future, and experience the energy of a true festival.
“Bath Digital Festival provides an amazing platform to showcase the incredible innovations, people and businesses not just in Bath, but the whole of the South West.
It’s a curated, engaging experience across three days, with plenty of opportunities to get involved, share ideas, learn, and meet lots of people working in tech or interested in tech, we’re always inclusive.”
Lucy Paine, Bath Community Lead, techSPARK
The theme for 2026 is "What If?"
This year, BDF is shaped around the theme “What If”. It’s an open-ended prompt that encourages exploration through innovation, curiosity and creativity. Over three days in May, we’ll share ideas that inspire fresh thinking and open up space for new perspectives. What If encourages participants to explore different possibilities and imagine change, both big and small.
Alongside the conversations and sessions, the festival also offers a platform for organisations to connect with engaged audiences. Whether your focus is visibility, community engagement or content reach, this year’s BDF aims to create space for thoughtful connection and shared discovery.
We’re inviting curious minds to get involved. Whether you have a new idea to share, a topic you want to explore further or a question you’d like to unpack with others, BDF is the space to do it.
If you enjoyed our sister festival BTF+ in October 2025, this is the perfect segue. Continue the conversations you started, deepen the connections you made and keep exploring what the future could look like for the South West’s tech ecosystem.
