Techinance Cyberhack 2 is a beginner-friendly virtual hackathon empowering students to build AI-powered cybersecurity solutions that protect vulnerable populations from emerging digital threats. With cybercrimes projected to cost the world $23 trillion by 2027 and healthcare data breaches affecting millions annually, we need innovative minds to create accessible security tools for everyone—not just tech giants. This hackathon is open to high school and college students of all skill levels! Whether you're coding your first "Hello World" or building your tenth ML model, you'll find your place here. Focus areas include healthcare cybersecurity (protecting patient data, medical IoT devices, telemedicine platforms), AI-powered threat detection (phishing, malware, social engineering attacks), digital safety for vulnerable populations (elderly fraud prevention, children's online safety), and privacy-preserving technologies. Registration opens January 31st, the hacking period runs from January 31st to February 10th, where you can build your solution at your own pace, submissions are due February 10th, and winners will be announced February 11th. Participants will gain hands-on experience building real-world cybersecurity solutions, prizes, certificates, and recognition for top projects, plus portfolio-worthy projects to showcase your skills.
