Qualified retail executives receive complimentary event registration, hotel accommodations, meals, networking events, and travel arrangements. Because the event is highly curated, attendance is limited to a select number of qualified retail leaders. Attendees are required to participate in the one-to-one meeting program with the event’s sponsor partners.
- Should I apply early?
- Yes. Retailer attendance is capped and the event fills up each year.
Applications are reviewed and approved to ensure a curated group of attendees and productive meeting matches with sponsor partners. Applying early increases your chances of securing a spot.

- What is a 1:1 meeting?
- A 1:1 meeting is a pre-arranged, private conversation between a retail attendee and a sponsor partner.
These meetings are designed to help retailers explore solutions, discuss business challenges and evaluate whether there may be a potential partnership.
- How are meetings scheduled?

Prior to the event, attendees review participating sponsor partners and indicate which companies they are most interested in meeting with.
Based on those preferences, the Total Retail Tech team builds a personalized meeting schedule for each attendee. If there are specific technology categories or solutions you’re interested in evaluating, our team can also prioritize connecting you with providers that align with those areas of interest.
- Do I have to meet with every technology provider?
- No. Meetings are curated based on your interests and preferences.
Before the event, you’ll review participating solution providers and select the companies you’d like to meet with. Your meeting schedule is then created to ensure conversations are relevant to your role, priorities and business needs.

- Attendance is limited to qualified retail executives responsible for marketing, e-commerce, digital strategy, technology or customer experience initiatives. Attendees must have some role in technology decision-making within their organization.
Typical attendees include directors, vice presidents and C-level leaders from retail and brand organizations with annual revenue in excess of $25 million. Applications are reviewed to ensure the event maintains a curated group of decision-makers.
- How much time will the event require?
- Total Retail Tech takes place over two-and-a-half days. Your personalized schedule will be provided ahead of the event so you can plan accordingly. The structure is designed to maximize value while still allowing time for networking, peer conversations and informal discussions.
- Can I bring a colleague from my team?
- Retailers may request to bring an additional team member if they are also responsible for marketing, e-commerce or technology initiatives within the organization. Each attendee must submit an application and be approved by the Total Retail Tech team.
- What expenses are covered?
- For qualified retail attendees, the hosted experience includes:
-Hotel accommodations
-Meals during the event
-Networking activities and entertainment
-Travel arrangements (including airfare)
