I'm Buffey Wright Bourassa. I bring more than a decade of public service, Tribal leadership, and community advocacy to my campaign for Mendocino County 3rd District Supervisor. Born and raised in Mendocino County, I've spent my career working across departments and communities to strengthen public safety, support recovery, expand economic opportunity, and build respectful partnerships with Tribal Nations.
My commitment is simple: listen to residents, bring people together, and deliver practical solutions that improve quality of life for local families. With integrity, accountability, and collaboration, I'm ready to serve.

With 11+ years of experience in Mendocino County government, I've worked across multiple departments, giving me first hand knowledge of the systems that support our county services, public wellness, and workforce stability.

It is only because of who I know Buffey to be as a person, as a public servant and as a community leader that I am willing to openly support her. Hearing of her personal and professional background and her willingness, commitment and unrelenting drive to rise above every challenge she faced is what led me to meet with her initially. After many hours of conversations, questions and discussion, I am convinced that she is the right person to serve as our Supervisor.
