The Temple Data Science Community (TDSC) invites you to our semester-long Datathon, where you’ll collaborate, experiment, and build exciting data-driven projects! Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this is your chance to showcase your skills, solve real-world problems, and compete for prizes.
Requirements
What to Build
Teams of 2-4 students will work on a data science project of their choice. Your project should leverage data science techniques to uncover insights, make predictions, or create intelligent applications. You can build:
- Machine Learning Models (Predictive analytics, NLP, Computer Vision, Recommender Systems)
- Data Visualization Dashboards (Interactive charts, geospatial mapping, storytelling with data)
- AI-Driven Web Apps (Chatbots, AI-powered tools, automation systems)
- Statistical Analysis Studies (Hypothesis testing, A/B testing, trend analysis)
- Any other creative, data-driven project!
What to Submit
- Project Title & Description – Summarize your project
- GitHub Repository URL – Tutorial here
- Demo Video (max 5 minutes) – Walkthrough of your project, insights, and results
