tartanshell in a nutshell: Female. 20something. Writer. Christian. Obsessed with her cats. Often mistaken for a high-school student, which is starting to be funny (and flattering) rather than annoying. Much stronger than she looks. Jaded ex-academic with a serious addiction to coffee and dark chocolate. Shares house, life, cats, and DVDs with roundegotrip, but does not share the Diet Coke. Which is only fair, since he doesn't share the remote.

About this journal: A mix of fandom (lots of squee, some fanfic, a fanvid or two) and real life (posts about tartanshell's adventures changing litter boxes and navigating the scary world of pro writing), and lots of babble about cats. Most real life stuff is friends-only. For new friends, there's a locked post here with some general info about my life. I used to be known online as Aldalindil, but Tartanshell is easier to spell.

I used to pretend to be fictional people: over on theatrical_muse, a multifandom in-character journaling/roleplay/prompt writing community. My primary muses were cannotbetraced (Logan Cale from Dark Angel), matt_murdock (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), and murderball4u (Herc from Friday Night Lights).

Friending policy: If you want to friend me, be my guest--no need to ask permission, though if you want to comment on a public entry and say hi, that's cool. If I have friended you, it means that I think we have some common interests, and I probably like your fanfic or vids or recs or meta. For the record, it's always defriending amnesty day here.
