Our award winning championship course

An elegant 18 hole, par 70 course nestled on the banks of Lake Superior.

Tanglewood Marsh Golf Course offers all golfers an opportunity to experience the famous Sault “marsh”. Natural preservation is a staple to not only the community, but also the golf course.

The acquisition of the property by Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians adds a unique cultural aspect to the golfing experience, making it more than just a golf course, it indicates a commitment to preserving and sharing the rich and natural heritages of the land. Tanglewood will always have a long-standing history of community sharing, we strive to be known for something that separates us from other courses.

Its challenging tight fairways and short distance has made us somewhat famous and overpowers a typical golf course. Coming in at Par 70 and covering over 150 acres of the naturally preserved marsh, 5300 yards in length became a very unique style of golf.

Throughout the years, league progression developed to give locals an opportunity to tee it up and build long lasting bonds. Offering many golfers to connect on a fun joyous occasion and a state-of-the-art clubhouse stocked with food and beverages.

Tanglewood not only offers a unique tie of golf relationships and amenities, it has been a starter course for beginning enthusiast looking to take up the game.

Being a prime location, the golf course is located minutes away from the downtown Sault and Michigan’s famous Kewadin Casino.
