Talking Dictionary is the most suitable app for those that are starting to learn English on their own because the program offers one useful function—learn the pronunciation of any word in the English language.
In particular, the program includes a dictionary of over 250,000 terms with their corresponding definitions and synonyms.
The only thing that you have to do is type the word into the search bar that you wish to look up. Once it is found, Talking Dictionary will offer you the pronunciation using a native feminine voice. You can also hear the definition of the word and its spelling.
The feminine voice can be modified in both its speed as well as its quality, which includes 3 modes: normal, echo, and whisper.
Talking Dictionary support keyboard shortcuts and can work in conjunction with other applications.
