Parenteral nutrition is one of the most powerful life-saving therapies. It's also one of the hardest to get right. Dozens of active ingredients. Protocols and practice built on anecdotal experience, takes hours to prescribe, and errors are common. All of this affects patients' outcomes. Nima Aghaeepour and I built Takeoff41, Inc. to solve these problems by leveraging specialized AI. Today we're coming out of stealth. What started as Stanford research, built alongside the providers doing this work, has become something I'm incredibly proud of: - Published in Nature Medicine - Secured exclusive IP from Stanford University - Backed by NIH and VC partners - Signed first customer Grateful to Basis Set, focal, Social Impact Capital, and Sarah Smith Fund, and our mentors at StartX, SPARK at Stanford, and California Life Sciences (CLS) for believing before it was obvious. We're hiring and looking for partners who want to build the future of PN with us. Reach out. 🚀

Huge congrats Joe - great to see this out in the world. I remember you telling me about it over a meal a while back at a friend's gathering, and it's awesome to see how far it's come since. You're sharp and ambitious and somehow still one of the most humble person I know. Wishing you all the best, though with the work you put in I doubt you'll need much luck. Onwards!
Proud moment for the team and everyone involved and we are just getting started. 🙌
