NOTE: Registering on Devpost does not give you access to the event, you must be admitted to ChaosHacks 2024 via our application process in order to attend.

Project Submission
Projects submitted must be created during the duration of the hackathon. You may not submit previously worked projects or projects from other hackathons to this hackathon or to other hackathons. Please remember you must only post ONCE per creation. 

To be considered for a prize, you must:
1. Present during our judging period
2. Opt your team in for the optional prizes if you want to be considered for them (this will be done in a different form announced later)

Code of Conduct

1) Be respectful

Remember that we’re all here to learn and create, and it's important to treat others the way you would like to be treated. Don’t be a jerk.

2) No NSFW material

We do not tolerate any NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content in our hackathon server.

3) Don’t use slurs or otherwise inappropriate language

We’re in a school setting - let's keep things civil and be respectful to everyone.

4) Don’t re-use projects from coursework or previous hackathons

The purpose of this hackathon is to build a fun project with your teammates. This is your chance to come up with something entirely fresh and innovative!

5) Have fun!

Remember, the ultimate goal of RootHacks is to enjoy the experience and have fun while learning and creating.
